SERVICE AVAILABLE IN PIMA COUNTY
Family Housing Resources offers Homebuyer Education Classes for those
interested in purchasing a home. These comprehensive classes are primarily
geared for the first-time homebuyer, but you do not have to be one to
enroll in the workshop. In fact, FHR encourages all current or potential
homebuyers to attend if they have questions about any part of the homebuying
process.
In general, the workshop is free of charge (fees are charged in conjunction
with homebuyer assistance programs). The class is eight hours in length,
which is a minimum requirement for HUD approved agencies. But don’t
let that discourage you! Classes are informative and interactive and will
help you answer many questions!

Homebuyer education classes are available in Pima County. Family Housing
Resources is a HUD approved housing counseling agency and accredited
by the American Homebuyer Education and Counseling Training Institute
(AHECTI).
If you are receiving an FHR Mortgage Loan or Arizona Homebuyer Solutions,
specific homebuyer education
classes are offered at different times and locations.
